Each week, you can expect thoughtfully curated ice breakers, facilitated group conversations and other moments to connect meaningfully, in addition to three build with her-people workshops.

You know that idea you’ve had? It’s been on your mind for a while now, and you’ve been dreaming of bringing it to life. But you’re not sure where to begin, busy with your 9-5 and possibly doubting yourself or the idea.

Well, if you’ve been looking for a sign (and a plan), this is it.

During the build with her-people experience, we will explore three hands-on entrepreneurial workshops freely, aimed to help you take the leap and bring your idea to life. Workshops have been carefully selected based on conversations with fellow entrepreneurs who have successfully brought their ideas to life - including a self-published author, executive producer, Fortune 500 CEO, cosmetics brand founder, agency owner among others. We anticipate nothing but magic from this experience and cannot wait to see what we accomplish together.

Week 1: Branding with Amber Thompson, Branding Professor at Humber College

Learn the fundamentals of building a brand, from establishing vision and values to defining voice and visuals.

Week 2: Content with Shinjini Sur, Mindset Architect & Founder at The Great Kind (formerly at PepsiCo and Loreal)

We’ve spent the last week thinking through and working on the vision, values, voice and visuals behind our idea - and now it’s time to see it in action through content. In this workshop, we will learn about different content types, what to use when and the key behind it all: consistency.

Week 3: Marketing 

During the third workshop, we will learn about different marketing channels and the most effective methods for early-stage ideas to gain visibility and traction with relevant audiences.

Week 4: her-pages book club discussion

We will discuss the her-pages read over a moderated discussion led by the community builder, often over a potluck dinner.

Please note that all workshop supplies and materials are included, with the exception of the her-pages book club pick for Week 4.

Schedule: While we will take all necessary steps to avoid it, agenda and schedule are subject to change.

Photo/Video: Photo and/or video may be taken during her-people experiences. By taking part in this event you grant the event organizers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know in advance.

Refund: Attendees can receive refunds if requested within 48 hours of purchase. Following 48 hours, tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable. Refunds will not be issued in the event of non-attendance for all or part of the experience.

Cancellations: While we will take all necessary steps to avoid it, should we be required to cancel the 4-week experience, you will be refunded 100% of payment made in advance of the start date.
